Box Aid - Supporting Care workers

Box Aid Ltd was setup during the pandemic to support care works but unfortunately we were ready but the supermarkets couldn't cope with our offer. We are currently working on a new and fully update website for Boxaid.co.uk but still trying to find a supermarket to work with!

What is BoxAid and what do we do!

Boxaid was setup along side www.boxes4soldiers.co.uk, where Boxes4Soldiers is all about friends, relatives and supporters sending care packages to military personnel whilst they are away from home. Boxaid wroks within the UK to support care workers, from hospital nursing and support staff to in the community care workers and those people who worked so dilligently through the pandemic.
With BoxAid, a care worker can register on www.boxaid.co.uk start shopping and building their shopping list for the week, but they don't pay for it? We share thier details on our website and on social media and elsewhere on the internet and ask people like you to either pay part or ideally pay for their entire shopping for the week, so simple but also so unique.
The principle being that many people don't want to give cash or a presnt to someone caring for the friends or relations either in hospital or in a care home, but would be perfectly happy paying for someones weekly shop (as long as it wasn't excessive), as you would feel you are doing something positive, paying for and having their groceries delivered to their door, rather than giving cash. We certainly had a lot of positive feedback from people wanting to use the service, but alas there was an issue with GDPR, or so we were told by someone at Tesco, but we still hope to set this site live again, so please come back or goto wwwboxes4soldiers.co.uk, register as a friend/ relation or supporter and you will be notified as this and other projects go live.
